1997

Start: Primuss Sumber Jaya Furniture & Art was founded by Mas Jiwo Pogog with a single mission: to sell export-ready furniture. At that time, there were very few local exporters, so Mas Jiwo took the initiative to enter this sector. Mas Jiwo Pogog comes from the Sumber Jaya Rotan family, a supplier of rattan and various other furniture raw materials.

1998

Excited: First container shipped to Australia. Primuss Sumber Jaya Furniture served as a sub-supplier for an Australian buying agent.

1999-2012

A unique experience: For 13 years, he served as the sole furniture supplier for a renowned Dutch boutique, clothing, and bag chain with branches in Belgium, Luxembourg, and South Africa. Uniquely, the product shipped was a single item: the legendary hanging chair, the Egg Chair.

For 13 years, Primuss Furniture has been supplying egg chairs for Sissy Boy Homeland.

1999

Big Start: As sub-supplier to (the late) Daniel Cirlande from Bali Becik Design, Bali - Primuss Sumber Jaya Furniture experienced a surge in sales due to the increasing number of export orders. Primuss Sumber Jaya Furniture also saw a surge in success, with its products entering star-rated hotels around the world, particularly in French-speaking countries (Daniel only speak French) - Club Med chain group, Le Meridien, Atlas Hotel, Sol Marbella, Westin Bali, etc. With Daniel, Primuss Sumber Jaya Furniture was able to ship its first batch of 1,000 mirrors to a large wholesaler in Southern France.

2004

One Stop Shopping At Primuss Furniture: Primuss Sumber Jaya Furniture & Art, with Karl Schamburg from All About House Australia, began a new adventure: buying handicrafts. This legacy is still working and growing bigger and Primuss Sumber Jaya Furniture, now ready to help every customer for buying handicraft. Today, there are over 30 sub-suppliers working with Primuss Furniture from Java and Bali.

2014

We can proudly say that we are small but have great experience, having survived the global recession and continued to survive as suppliers to several well-known companies.

We can still say we are small with great experience, despite new challenges ahead. The name Primuss Sumber Jaya Furniture & Art was shortened to Primuss Furniture - for efficiency 😉.
